Hailing from Buffalo, New York, Zoe graduated Hobart and William Smith Colleges (HWS) in 2016 where she was an Environmental Studies and Sociology major. After graduation, Zoe moved to Nicaragua where worked with Soccer Without Borders, an NGO that empowers local girls through soccer. Daily, she helped plan weekly activities, practices, events, and homework tutoring. She also taught English to adults at a local language school.

Zoe loved her experience leading for Woza and loved having the opportunity to have such a life changing experience! She wrote, "
Most importantly, Woza allowed me to lead other younger athletes in discovering the world through their own love of the game. Being able to both travel and learn about other cultures provides a different, more authentic opportunity to communicate and connect with others".
