Liam White
Hometown: Wellesley, MA College: Northwestern University
Liam is a lifelong soccer fanatic and recent graduate of Northwestern University, where he studied Anthropology, Global Health, and Portuguese, and served as Co-Director of the NU Community for Human Rights.
Since first assisting recruitment efforts for Woza’s inaugural trip in 2013, Liam has been involved with the organization in various capacities. He traveled to Cape Town with Woza in 2015, co-led the 2016 Woza trip to Mtubatuba, South Africa, led the 2018 trip to Malawi, and was a recruitment ambassador throughout his time in college.
In addition to his sport-for-development work with Woza, Liam led soccer clinics for underprivileged youth in Salvador, Brazil while studying abroad in 2016, and worked for Football United, a Sydney, Australia-based organization that creates chances for young people and newly arrived refugees through the magic of the beautiful game, during the Summer of 2017.
This fall, Liam started a career in healthcare consulting in Chicago.
