Dylan Abbott
Dylan grew up in Salmon Arm, a small town in British Columbia. He completed a degree in Geography from the University of British Columbia Okanagan where he played for the men's varsity soccer team earning the Male Graduating Player of the Year award in 2015.
Since graduating, Dylan has worked as a forestry consultant both locally and internationally. In 2016, Dylan worked in Tanzania, while volunteering his spare time to provide equipment and organize soccer events for the local communities. Dylan has traveled through 5 continents and most recently spent 6 months in Central and South America. He believes that the perspective gained through travel is unparalleled. Dylan continues to play high-level soccer out of Victoria, BC and has helped coach youth soccer players for the past 10 years.
Dylan loved sharing his travel experience and passion for soccer with the next generation. He writes, “I was overjoyed to be given the chance to lead such a meaningful trip. Being able to enrich the lives of those around me through soccer, service, and travel was a dream come true.”
