 Brendan Barth

Brendan grew up in Hanover, New Hampshire, where he enjoyed playing soccer, tennis, and the saxophone throughout high school. He didn’t stray far for his undergraduate studies; Brendan attended Dartmouth College and earned a degree in classical studies and as a pre-medical student, while also playing on the men’s soccer team, where he won the Ivy League three years in a row.

During college, Brendan studied classics while abroad in Greece, where he discovered his passion for travel. He also spent several months during an off-term exploring New Zealand.  After graduating college in 2017, Brendan led a biking trip for high schoolers down the Pacific Coast with Overland Summers and tutored math and science and coached soccer at Millbrook School in Hudson Valley, NY.

Most recently, Brendan spent four months in Rwanda, where he worked as a medical intern in Kigali. He also coached soccer for underprivileged kids through a community foundation in Kigali.

Brendan started medical school back at Dartmouth this fall to pursue a career as a physician. Brendan had a particularly meaningful experience in Rwanda and was thrilled to continue to pursue his passion for working with kids and connecting with other cultures through soccer in South Africa this past summer.
