  Brandon Sousa  

Brandon grew up playing soccer in Waterbury, Connecticut. He attended the Taft School, a private boarding school in Connecticut where he played soccer and golf. His senior year he was the captain of both the Varsity Soccer Team and Varsity Golf Team. During his time at Taft, Brandon participated in a two-week community service trip to South Africa.

 

Brandon attended Wesleyan University where he studied economics and played midfield for the men’s soccer team. Brandon was two-time all-conference player his sophomore and senior years, and during his senior year lead the program to their second ever NESCAC final.  Outside of soccer, Brandon was a teaching assistant for the Economics Department. Brandon was very excited to bring his passion for soccer and community service to the Woza program. He loved leading trips to Costa Rica in the summer of 2017.
