Arielle Koshkin
Ari is the Associate Director of Woza Soccer.
Born and raised in Oakland, California, Ari Koshkin graduated in 2014 from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. While at Carleton she played defensive center midfield for the women's varsity soccer team, winning back-to-back MIAC championships and making an appearance in the NCAA tournament. Ari completed a degree in Biology with a minor in Environmental Studies. In college, she spent a term studying in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, studying the conflict between conservation and development across rural Ethiopia. During her summers in college, Ari led backpacking trips for high school students with Overland Summers from 2012-2014.
Since graduating, Ari has taught science and lead backpacking trips for the High Mountain Institute in Leadville, Colorado, led a college study abroad program in Australia, and worked in an aquatic ecology lab in Boulder, Colorado.
Leading for two summers with Woza, Arielle loves traveling back to South Africa. No matter where Ari is, she loves to find pick up games around the world to connect with locals, students, friends, and meet new people.
